It’s not hard to see why Burke’s Horse Trekking Centre has been dubbed “a trekker’s paradise”. Located on the impossibly scenic Ring of Kerry at Glenbeigh, County Kerry, rarely do you get a chance to ride in a place of such astounding natural beauty.Just 20 minutes from Killarney town, Burke’s is situated on the verge of Rossbeigh Beach, a seven-mile long stretch of golden sand and a chance to really gallop like never before. The experience is both exhilarating and memorable.
A family owned business, Gerard and Niamh Burke have been running the centre since the summer of 2000. They offer horses and ponies for people of all ages and abilities to trek on the beaches, along the miles of quiet country roads or through the mountains. They are passionate about horses and dedicated to providing a safe, caring environment in which both the horses and their riders thrive.
