Morans seaside Farmhouse is a homely and family run Co Kerry B&B with one of the most spectacular views in the country overlooking Derrynane Bay and the Atlantic.  It is situated 2.5kms off the renowned Ring of Kerry road and 6kms from Caherdaniel village between Coomakista Pass and the sea.

The Caherdaniel B&B is a working farm and has been in existence over 30 years and has seen many guests come back time and time again.  All our guests are greeted in a warm and friendly manner.  One of our guests in 2007 included Robert Plant of Led Zeppelin.

This location is idyllic offering many activities including surfing, swimming (clean unspoilt sandy beaches - blue flag award), hill walking, mass path walk, boating, diving, fishing, horse riding and bird watching which are all within walking distance.

Local places to visit and explore: The skelligs rock, The Kerry Way, Nature trails around Derrynane National Park, The historic Derrynane House, Ogham Stones, Abbey Island, Staigue Fort & Wildlife in Derrynane and, of course explore the breathtaking Ring of Kerry.

Waterville Golf Links (10kms) is one of the finest links golf courses in the world, never mind Ireland.

You may fancy a drink in the traditional lively atmospheric pubs in Caherdaniel Village & Derrynane for some craic (fun), good food and music.  Additionally, there is a restaurant/pub which serves good food located 2.5kms from our house.

We are open from April to the end of October.

Bedrooms

We have 4 Newly renovated en-suite rooms, 3 of which are overlooking the most breathtaking Derrynane Bay and the Atlantic Ocean. We have double and twin bedrooms, which are located on the ground floor and have central heating. There are tea/coffee making facilities and Hair dryers supplied in all bedrooms. A TV is provided in the guest lounge, which overlooks Derrynane Bay and the Atlantic.

Dining room

There are panoramic views of the Atlantic ocean and Derrynane Bay from our Dining Room. Breakfast is normally served between 8.30am - 9.30am. Full Irish Breakfast is served with homemade brown bread and cereal and orange juice. With prior notice, special dietary requirements are catered for. Our dining room is non smoking.

Alternatively, you could try out Waterville (11 kms), where there are nice restaurants and pubs.
