Local Info

The beautiful town of Cahersiveen lies at the foot of Benetee Mountain, on the river Fertha overlooking Valentia Harbour. As well as the breathtaking scenery found around Cahersiveen, the area also has lots to offer in the way of activities such as golf, swimming walking, cycling, mountaineering, horse ridding, a varied selection of water sports from diving to windsurfing, deep sea fishing, pony trekking, and shopping.

Traditional fairdays or market days are still held on the streets where young and old, visitors and locals meet and chat. A visit to Cahersiveen ensures traditional bars and music, wonderful food, excellent accommodation and a wide range of shops. The Liberator Daniel O' Connell (1775-1847) is the town’s most famous son.

Driving Directions

The Hotel is located on the outskirts Of Caherciveen Town, on the main Ring Of Kerry Route. From Kenmare take the N70, through Sneem, Castlecove and Waterville and arriving in Caherciveen. From Killarney take the N72 to Killorglin, then follow the N70 through Glenbeigh and arriving in Caherciveen.
