There are many restaurants in Cahersiveen and the surrounding areas. The quality of seafood available here is high, fresh crab, prawns, hake, bass, bream, and mackeral all deserve a special mention. Fresh lobster and Crayfish is also available in several restaurants. As the area is seasonal it's either very busy or very quiet, many restaurants close in the winter.
